1. The Service

WebToolX provides a collection of free, browser-based utility tools — including text tools, converters, generators, image tools, developer utilities, calculators, and AI-assisted tools — available at webtoolx.com. The Service is provided free of charge for personal and professional use, subject to these Terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use WebToolX only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Using the Service to generate, distribute, or store illegal, harassing, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Attempting to circumvent rate limits, abuse the AI proxy, or overload our infrastructure with automated requests.
• Scraping, crawling, or mirroring the Service in a way that imposes unreasonable load on our servers.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract the source code of any proprietary part of the Service.
• Impersonating any person, entity, or WebToolX itself.

3. AI Tools — Accuracy and Daily Limits

AI-powered tools on WebToolX are powered by Google Gemini and are made available as a convenience. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You must verify any AI-generated content before relying on it for important decisions, professional work, legal matters, or publication.

Free AI usage is subject to a daily request limit enforced per anonymous device/IP. We reserve the right to adjust these limits at any time without notice. Circumventing limits (for example, by rotating IPs or using VPNs solely to bypass rate limiting) is prohibited and may result in a block.

4. No Warranty — Service Provided "As Is"

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Tool outputs are provided for informational purposes only. You use the Service at your own risk.

5. Intellectual Property

The WebToolX name, logo, design, and original code are the intellectual property of WebToolX and its operators. You may not use them without prior written permission.

Content you input into any tool remains yours. By using the AI tools, you grant us a limited, transient license to pass your input to Google's Gemini API solely for the purpose of generating the result you requested. We do not claim ownership over your inputs or the generated outputs.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WEBTOOLX AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF — OR INABILITY TO USE — THE SERVICE, INCLUDING DAMAGES FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which, for free users, is zero).

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (Google Gemini, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, Firebase). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of those third parties. Your use of third-party services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect when changes were made. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
